THE CHOICE OF VERTICAL INTEGRATION
The Natuzzi Group took over two tanneries in Veneto, a polyurethane manufacturing factory in Campania, and created within the Santeramo site an industrial joinery for the production of wooden sofa frames. CLEAN AND RENEWABLE: ENERGY ACCORDING TO NATUZZI
With a rated power of about 4.5 megawatts, the 21,000 photovoltaic panels installed in 2010 on the roofs of the manufacturing sites in Puglia and Basilicata help to reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) air emissions by 3,400 tonnes per year, equal to the annual emissions of about 1,200 cars.

Leather selection and tanning are carried out at our Italian tannery, in compliance with environmental regulations, among the strictest in the world.
We only use wood from renewable forests. In addition, all wood products are manufactured in compliance with the regulations on formaldehyde amounts to ensure total non-toxicity.
All the polyurethanes of our fillings are totally free of freon and other harmful agents.
Sofas, furniture and accessories are manufactured without the use of chemicals.
The five photovoltaic systems in operation at our Santeramo in Colle headquarters and our manufacturing sites provide a significant percentage of our energy requirements.
